I now offer a variety of workshops, with new ones in the pipeline - so watch this space!
Come and join me for a 3 hour workshop, in my studio, next to the fabulous Newlyns Farm Shop. I offer sessions for a maximum of 6 people at a time, so why not bring a couple of friends - it's lots of fun!
I will talk you through the science behind the art, teach you cut glass and then you can have a go.
These workshops are the perfect gift for someone who loves arts and craft - no experience is necessary.
Be warned though - it's incredibly addictive!

I have Perspex screens between workbenches, individual sets of tools and I ask everyone to take an LFT the morning of the class. Handwashing facilities and sanitiser is available.

Introduction Workshop
During your time in the studio you will have the opportunity to make something like a pair of handkerchief style candle holders, or a collection of free standing 'S' curves - these are just suggestions there are many possibilities. You will need to leave them with me to fire in the kiln as this takes a long time, but they will be ready within 2 weeks.
The sessions are £60 per person, and this includes the use of the studio, tools, glass and firings.

Decorate Your Own Lantern
similar to the introduction workshop in technique but in this wokshop you will design 4 panels for your own lantern, included as part of the course.
The lanterns stand approximately 27cm high to the top of the handle and each glass panel is approximately 15cm x 9cm
Again your finished lantern will be ready for collection within 2 weeks
These sessions are £80 per person, and this includes the use of the studio, tools, glass and firings, and the lantern.

Make A Statement Bowl
In this workshop you will be able to choose from the various moulds I have available which measure up to 28cm². You will then design and create your bowl from scratch. All materials, tools and firings are included in the price of the workshop.
I will aim to get your finished bowl ready for collection within 2 weeks, however with this workshop the firings can take slightly longer on occasion.
These sessions are £100 per person, and this includes the use of the studio, tools, glass and firings.
